Rachel Plummer says:
Hi Katherine! Glad to know Mable and Amelia are doing well :) I'm not sure why your pics aren't uploading. I'll ask Ian to have a look at that this evening and see if he can work out what's going on. I currently have 12 baby rescue mice looking for homes, so if your friend is still looking send her my way! Thanks, Rachel
Katherine says:
Oh, my other question was, do you ever/will you ever be getting any mice in? My friend really wants some more and she doesnt know where to get them from without having to go for miles! thanks!
Katherine says:
heyy, just a quick update, Mable and Amelia are doing great! They are so friendly and outgoing! i cant even reach into the cage to get the food bowl without at least one running up my arm! also none of my pics seem to have uploaded?

Hi Rachel, It's 2 weeks since we brought Cinnamon Sam home from your shop - today (10/08/08) he's 64 days old (sadly, I created a spreadsheet to keep track). He's settled in really well & has a great nature. He seems fine in the cage, although he has discovered the joy of coming out for playtime & can't understand why we need to go to bed at night. Tries uploading a couple of pics. Will keep an eye on the gallery & see if they show up.
Alex and Findlay says:
Scruffy is getting on very well. He is very cute. He loves his hamster ball and wheel.
Alexia 05/08/08 says:
Hi Rachael Alexia here from Newcastle! Just to keep you updated with Ebony... She is doing just great..(11 weeks old) She loves her cage ...a little too much at times! lol I was thinking the wheel would be the problem. ie the noise! but no that's cool..however she has this mineral stone that she loves to push up and down the bars of her cage, this proves to be the one thing that keeps me awake haha. I could remove it but I like the way she plays...kinda a cute! I have tried several times to upload pics of her without success :( I may email one or two to you so that you can see hows she's doing. Oh by the way anyone interested in a hamster cage I would strongly recommend buying the Savic Metro Heaven, from Rachael's shop. Its fab :)
cheryl says:
Hi Rachel! I adopted the 2 girlie ratties from you on saturday [mommy and baby], they're doing well :) i've named the mommy Nessie, but don't have a name for the baby yet, she will have one soon though :D also, baby likes to crawl over nessie and climb on her back, steal her treats (like pieces of catfood) and use her as a pillow, wich nessie doesn't seem to mind too much! i'll upload a photo of the double-decker rattie-duo soon! xox
Chloe says:
Hi Jess my hamster is really liking his new home!!!! I will upload some pics!!!!!!!
Rachel Plummer says:
Hi Katherine, sorry but we didn't get your photo. Perhaps you can try uploading again? Sorry! - Rachel.
Wobble says:
Hi everyone! Hope you’re keeping well. We’re fine in our new home. Sometimes we miss the shop tho and all our friends but Adam and Heidi have been quite nice to us. They even let Axel to chew one of the tables so he wouldn’t miss the shop shelves so much. He has also picked up the courage to jump up and down the couch now so I don’t need to play on my own anymore. Think I’m still the braver one tho. It sometimes annoys me that Adam and Heidi always hide our veg and candies and we need to work soooo hard to turn around bowls and dig under every pillow to find our sweets. Oh and sometimes they just watch the telly and we need to push and jump around them to get any attention. Apart from all that it’s all good...think Me and Axel will be happy here. Loads of love, Wobble & Axel Ps. Heidi and Adam has taken some pics of us so I’ll ask them to put them up at some point.
Katherine says:
did you get the picture i uploaded? my computer froze half way through and im not sure if you got it or not?

Gillian & Scott Muir says:
Just to let you know the rats we got from you last Saturday (3rd May) are settling in really really well. We called the agouti one Beer, the fawn one Biscuit and the black one Boo. Biscuit is a cuddle fiend and would sit being petted for hours and Beer is always on the lookout for an escape route. Boo is a bit more timid but is taking notes from her sisters and getting more and more confident every day. They were obviously extremely well handled before they came to us as we have had no biting issues whtsoever (in fact Biscuit likes to groom us) and we would like to congratulate you on raising such happy rats. Keep up the good work.
Mira Dickinson says:

Hi Rachel, I just wanted to let you know that the silver banded, LH baby hamster I got from you last week is getting on GREAT! I've called him Bobo. He loves going on his wheel and his favourite treat is ham.
Rachael says:
Hi. Just wanted to thank you for all your help and advice when I got the mini rex rabbits from you - now named Nutmeg and Cinnamon. They seem to be enjoying their new home, and they love racing around and gnawing/shredding everything in sight. They are exceptionally inquisitive and friendly (which is what melted my heart when I first saw them in your shop), and they get away with all kinds of mischief. I couldn't have wished for lovelier bunnies. P.S. I hope you liked the pictures :o)
Claire says:
Hi Rachel, just to let you know that wee Ellie is doing really well. She was one of the litter born on 03/01/08, so she is 8 weeks old now and it shows. She seems to being growing over night and loves coming out to play. She loves her cuddles and her ball. She is very fast in her ball and zooms in and out the rooms. Her fav food is Sugarsnap peas, she would eat them by the bucket load if we let her. Think she will out grow her bed soon. Pics to follow.
Lewis says:
Hi, just letting you know that the 2 guinea pigs I bought from you in December are settling in really well. I have called them George and Frank (these are my middle names). They get so excited every morning when I give them their breakfast - wow they can squeak really loud - They love the grass with dandelions that I have bought them and gobble it up as soon as I put it in their cage. I am so glad I found them at your shop. They are really happy. Lewis xx
Ruth Watkins says:
Hi Rachel I just wanted to tell you that my new hamster is fine. She is really lively and has been in her wheel a lot so shes just having a nap. I have named my hamster Charly she is a syrian hamster, she is golden and she was born on the 16/01/08. I am going to try and get a picture of her up on the web as soon as possible. P.S. Ihope she dosn't get to big for her cage!
Natasha says:

Sam and Max Clark says:
Hi Rachel, Just to say thanks for the two male guinea pigs we got from you just over a month ago. They have settled in and we are really enjoying having them as our pets. We've named them Silvey and Charlie and they have made themselves at home in Sam's room. We will take some photo's soon and send them to you.
gordon cook says:
the two hooded male rats that you sold me are settling in fine still a little timid but getting bolder every day. the dark one is called Bundy and the light one is called Dimebag (after one of my guitar heroes) i have kitted the cage with a multitude of fun things and defined personalties are beginning to show though. Bundy is a curious rat with no fear for hights and dimebag is amazing at climbing. they sleep together in their hammock everynight and despite the odd playfight getting bit serious they seem to be enjoying their new life with me and my girlfriend couldn't have asked fr a nicer pair of ratties. thanks
Fiona Black says:
Hi Rachel and Ian Sorry it's taken so long to contact you. Just wanted to let you know that the Chinnies I got from you just after New Year have settled in nicely. They are called Topsy & Tinker. I've just finished making their new home for them and they seem to love it! They're always out and about in the house and bouncing all over the place - they're gorgeous. They're very very entertaining and I love them to bits. Thank you both.
Nicola and Sean says:
Dear Rachel, our two new 'bunny' family members - Blackie and Twilight - are settling into their new home quite happily, and exploring every corner when they are out to play from the cage. Both have taken to climbing over us when we are lying down on the floor, and while not yet fully litter box trained (they still think the litter box is to lie down in), their appetites are immense! They have even started to say hello through the cage to our family cat, Obelix. Many thanks for introducing us to them - many happy days to come for all!!!
Claire Urquhart says:
Hi Rachel, Just wanted to let you know that the rabbits have settled really well into their new life with my very excited children. Holly, my 8 year old has named them Bruce and Wallace.. somehow they really suit their names! Bruce (the fluffier one) is very happy to be picked up and cuddled, which is just as well as Rosie, my 4 year old likes to hold him at every opportunity! Wallace likes to run away but once you have him he is just as obliging in the cuddles department! They are getting a lot of attention and are always out of their cage bobbing around the room. I am so glad we got them they are the perfect pets!!
Jenna & Dave says:
Hi Rachel, just sent you a picture of the syrian hamster we bought from your shop a few months ago. We named him Mervin after his dad Merlin and his mum Vivian. As you can see, he is not camera shy!!
Craig says:
Hi Rachel thanks for the rats. The black hooded one is called Hoody and the brown one is called Cinamon. They are very friendly which often surprises visitors. They are probably this friendly because you handled them and let me come in to your shop to handle them too, so thanks. They enjoy running up and down the stairs when I let them out. I love my rats and am pleased they are happy and healthy so I am glad I got them out Paws Here.
Jennifer says:

Hi Rachel, Just to thank you again for all the fantastic help you gave me when I got my two baby rats from you - I named the wee champagne Ruby and the baby berkshire Socks as she has very cute white paws!! They have totally settled into their new home and love their massive pink rat palace that they know live in! They were exceptionally easy to handle when I brought them home and they are such a pleasure to have - Im sure they are so loveable because they were handled and well looked after from an early age!! Thanks very much again, if I ever consider getting another rattyroo I will definately be coming back to you!
Terry Davies says:
Hi Rachel, The 3 boys and mum and dad really like the hamster(cinnamon female)we have called her Honey.Tried here in her ball last night for a quick shot, i think she will take a couple of shots to get really used to it. The good thing is that she has settled in well and looks very happy and responds well when spoken to.
Rachel McLean says:
Hi Rachel I love your shop and i'm bound to be in again soon enough. Just to let you know Snuggles is settling fine I havn't taken him out for a cuddle yet seeing as I only got him yesterday but he loves his new home and i'm going to try taking him out to play tonight and i'll remember all the things you've taught me about handling him but i'll still have to be careful because he is extremely speedy but I love him so much. thankyou and merry christma lots of love from rachel and snuggles

Tommy Dolan says:
hey rachel my two new flatmates are settling in fine and have already caused alot of mischief haha! completely mad. still no names for them as yet and the suggestions are getting increasingly ridiculous rather than better! i hope am giving them enough exercise, have them out about an hour a day but am unconfident about lettin them about the floor, trying to pick them takes me about half an hour and everytime you cant see them u freak out thinking theve got away!! all part of the fun though! Thanks for introducing me to these guys!
Rachel says:
Thanks Emma! It's good to hear that Nelly (love that name!) and Poppy are settling in well and that they like the hammock. I give my guys hammocks from time to time - beware that they sometimes decide to chew it to bits when they've had enough of it! They're machine washable though, so they should last a while. Thanks for letting me know how they're getting on, I look forward to seeing the photos!
Emma Richards says:
Hi Rachel, just wanted to let you know that the rats are settling in fine to their new home. We've called them Nelly and Poppy. Poppy is the slightly bigger one that I was holding in the shop and Nelly is the one who loved staying inside Alan's hood! Nelly is a bit more timid so we've left her in the hammock in the cage for now and are sweetening her up with a couple of treats. They are loving that hammock! I'll take some photos tomorrow and post them up on your site. Thanks for all the information you gave us and for the support line! I'll keep you updated! Emma
Rachel says:
Thanks Rachel and Ronald! I'm glad you're enjoying your ratties and they're settling in well. Two more rats have found homes recently, and four more are going over the next few days which is fantastic. It's a great feeling to see all these rescued rats going to such good homes. Thanks for you wonderful comments about the shop - we worked and waited a long time and now we're so proud of it. Hope to see you again soon, and big hugs to Bentley and Barclay!
Rachel and Ronald says:
We got our rats just yesterday and they were absolutely delighted by their new cage. We went out yesterday and left them to get settled in whilst we went out for lunch. I fed them some apple and banana this morning which they loved. We've decided to call them Bentley and Barclay as we said yesterday. Barclay is the smaller agouti and Bentley is the black one. They are so cute and we cannot believe how strong their personalities are! We had them out to play last night and they were so much fun. Thank you for having a pet shop with such ethical standards- it's nice to see a shop which obviously puts the health and wellbeing of pets above profit. We'll be in again soon no doubt and thanks again.
Stefan says:
